Apart from the standard configuration, CREON offers a variety of enhanced options to meet the different needs of merchants. You can choose the MMC/SD card option or PSRAM to further expand the memory capacity of CREON to cater for more applications; or use a high-speed modem (up to 56K) for faster communications; or maintain an ‘always-on’ connection by using TCP/IP protocol and wireless connection with GPRS module for outdoor application.

In applications needing a compact EFTPOS connecting to multiple devices such as ECR, RF card reader or PC keyboard while maintaining modem and IP connectivity, CREON with the extended COM module will be the best choice for it. It provides Modem, Ethernet port, 3 x RS232 Ports (two of them is circuit multiplexed). Furthermore one of the RS232 ports can be changed to a PS/2 keyboard interface, thus allowing easy entry of any characters by plugging a PC keyboard to it. It’s up to the user’s imagination to utilize this feature to enhance the scope of application for CREON.
